Deburring Specialist

The Deburring Specialist is expected to perform all operational requirements to facilitate the safe removal of burrs, sharp edges, and the surface preparation of products on time and to print specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completes work as assigned and follows the daily work schedule. 
• Follows established deburring practices. Sets up deburring work; edges, sands, drills and knifes manifolds; uses compressed air. 
• Prepares and maintains hand tools and sanding equipment. 
• Visually inspects work and quality of parts. Assists in writing non-conformance reports when necessary. 
• Reviews standard cycle times and actual cycle times. 
• Safely operates a forklift.
• Ensures machine shop is clean and orderly. 
• Complies with all JEM policies and procedures, including ISO, OSHA, and AWAIR requirements. 
• Supports JEM's vision and mission and exemplifies JEM's core values daily. 
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Previous experience in deburring role and/or with hand tools
