The JOB:
Eighty Ocean Kitchen and Bar offers a relaxed dining experience with a stunning oceanside view. The open-air concept changes by daypart and season while our screened-in porch offers flexibility for more intimate dining or private events. This role is responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a Food and Beverage team, all to ensure a sensational dining experience for our guests. If you are a hands-on, energetic, experienced and a service-oriented person, then look no further! As the Restaurant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Work with budget and menu
- Monitor inventory
- Communicate with vendors
- Supply information about the Food and Beverage capabilities and programs to other departments and clients or potential clients.
- Respond to needs and requests of guests and potential guests.
- Ensure that implementation and maintenance of standards of food, beverage and service quality are commensurate with a first-class operation.
- Implement effective cost controls for food, beverage and labor.
- Create a comfortable atmosphere to encourage committed and loyal employees.
- Oversee and assist in hiring and training programs for food and beverage personnel.
- Develop management skills in employees.
- Oversee weekly payroll for department.

Ideal Candidate should have at least 2-3 years restaurant management experience in a high-volume restaurant. Must have exceptional interpersonal skills to provide our guests with an exceptional experience.
