Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Graphic Designer, located in Jekyll Island, GA. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for producing high-quality, consistent branding to support Jekyll Island and its amenities.
Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with various teams to conceptualize and design print and digital materials, ensuring brand consistency across all mediums, and reviewing and refining creative visuals as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and time-management skills and demonstrate a proven record of effective visual communication. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to interact with vendors and all levels of internal staff with high professionalism.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in graphic design, advertising, or related field with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience is required. Agency experience preferred. OR
- High school diploma or recognized equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating technical production skills and a keen eye for design.
- Knowledge of design principles, including layout, typography, color, balance, composition, and current design trends.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of print production and file set-up.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to catch all mistakes while preparing files.
- Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus.
- Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills.
