What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math Teacher position at JEI Learning Center?
JEI Learning Center is seeking dedicated Mathematics Teachers to join our team at our Hillsborough and Bridgewater locations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching math and fostering a positive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are enthusiastic about shaping young minds and helping students excel in mathematics.
Hours will vary, but generally are
Monday-Friday, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturdays 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.
**Responsibilities:**
- Teach various math subjects up to Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2.
- Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs
- Comfortable working with students in small groups.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment
- Mentor students to help them achieve academic success
Must be able to commit to the length of the program (at least one school year).
This is a part-time position but could be a long-term opportunity for the right instructor.
Compensation: Compensation depends on the eligibility and experience. As you develop your skills and with experience, you will get into higher paying bracket.
