Jehdhun Cardiology is seeking a skilled and dependable Echocardiography Technician to join our cardiology practice in Elizabeth, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic echocardiographic examinations according to established protocols.
- Obtain high-quality 2D, Doppler, and color-flow images for physician interpretation.
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures clearly and professionally.
- Accurately document patient information and examination findings.
- Maintain proper patient identification, safety, and confidentiality.
- Work closely with cardiologists and clinical staff to provide excellent patient care.
- Enter and review patient information using an Epic EMR system.
- Maintain equipment and report any technical issues promptly.
- Follow applicable clinical, safety, and infection-control procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience as an Echocardiography Technician/Sonographer.
- Knowledge and practical experience performing adult echocardiograms.
- Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and staff.
- Appropriate echocardiography credentials/certification preferred.
