Jeff Sawyer State Farm is seeking an outgoing, energetic Telemarketer to support our high-performing, multi-office agency.

This is a high-activity outbound calling position for someone who is comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone. Your primary focus will be connecting with prospective customers, generating interest, qualifying leads, and scheduling appointments for our licensed sales team.

If you enjoy talking to people, aren't discouraged by rejection, and can bring consistent energy to a high volume of outbound calls, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Make a high volume of outbound calls to prospective customers.
  
  
• Engage prospects in friendly, professional conversations.
  
  
• Generate interest in available insurance products and services.
  
  
• Qualify leads and gather relevant customer information.
  
  
• Schedule appointments and warm-transfer qualified opportunities to licensed sales team members.
  
  
• Follow up with leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals, and other agency sources.
  
  
• Consistently follow up with prospects who are not ready to move forward immediately.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, follow-ups, and appointments.
  
  
• Track daily outbound activity and appointment-setting results.
  
  
• Work toward established calling, lead-generation, and appointment goals.
  
  
• Represent the agency professionally during every customer interaction.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Outgoing personality and confidence speaking with people over the phone.
  
  
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls every day.
  
  
• Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills.
  
  
• Persistent and able to stay positive when dealing with rejection or unanswered calls.
  
  
• Goal-oriented and motivated by measurable results.
  
  
• Dependable, organized, and consistent with follow-up.
  
  
• Comfortable working from call lists and following scripts or talking points.
  
  
• Basic computer and CRM skills.
  
  
• Previous telemarketing, outbound calling, appointment setting, lead generation, call center, or sales experience strongly preferred.
  
  
• Insurance experience is a plus but not required.
  
  

Schedule

• Part-time position.
  
  
• Approximately 20–30 hours per week.
  
  
• Consistent availability and reliability are important.
