We are seeking a professional and compassionate Bilingual Phone Receptionist to join our busy Neurology practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a high call volume in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information
Route calls appropriately to clinical and administrative staff
Provide patients with general office and appointment information
Accurately document messages and patient requests in the EHR system
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
Support the clinical and administrative team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Previous medical office or call center experience preferred (Neurology experience a plus)
Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
Bilingual a must - English and Spanish
Ability to multitask and manage high call volumes efficiently
Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance verification preferred
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems (ECW experience a plus)
Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills
