The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting dental practitioners by providing efficient chairside assistance and ensuring a sterile and well-prepared clinical environment. This role typically supports a medium patient volume, assisting with up to 15 patients daily to maintain smooth clinical operations and high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Sterilize instruments and dental equipment following infection control protocols
- Assist dentists chairside during procedures
- Maintain strict infection control standards within the dental operatory
- Capture digital periapical images accurately
- Willing to learn CBCT imaging and be certified via online course in our office.
- Prepare operatories for dental procedures, ensuring all materials are ready and available
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in dental assisting
- Dental Assisting Certificate or Diploma
Hours: 12:00p-6:30p (hours may vary slightly based on needs) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, Some Wednesday hours depending on emergencies.
Salary : $21 - $23
