Our client, a leader in the Utilities and Renewable Energy sector, is seeking a dedicated Senior Revenue Accountant to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting revenue recognition and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, aligning successfully within a diverse and inclusive organization.
Job Title: Senior Revenue Accountant
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina or Remote
Pay Range: $60.00 - $65.00/hour
What's the Job?
- Manage and execute month-end close activities related to revenue recognition
- Support automation initiatives using Power Query to streamline processes
- Assist with technical aspects of AR and Revenue Accounting
- Participate in projects and research to improve accounting practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and accuracy
What's Needed?
- Proven experience in revenue accounting or related finance roles
- Strong automation experience with Power Query
- Knowledge of Netsuite or similar ERP systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Experience supporting month-end close processes and project research
