Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time, on-site position for a Pharmacist at our Jefferson Valley, NY location. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the accurate preparation and dispensing of medications, providing patient education about prescriptions and medical conditions, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, supervising pharmacy staff, and liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in prescription preparation, dispensing, and medication safety practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and adherence to regulatory requirements for pharmacy operations.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, delegate tasks, and oversee pharmacy staff.
- A valid state license to practice as a pharmacist in New York.
- Experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting is highly preferred.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of RX30 a plus.
- Immunizations are a must.
