Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program in an AMA approved school. Must be registered by the ARRT. Advanced certification in MRI by the ARRT preferred.
Assures responsibility for technical services of MRI. Performs technical procedures in the utilization of magnetic resonance for diagnosis. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
This position is designated as a safety sensitive position. The essential duties of the job require the employee to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner. A lapse in attention to detail may constitute a threat to health or safety resulting in injury, illness, or death.
