Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist patients with daily living activities, provide basic care, and support our medical staff in delivering exceptional patient care. This position is in our Green houses in our White Pine location.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Provide support to medical staff during procedures and examinations
- Ensure patient rooms are clean and comfortable
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Follow infection control procedures
Skills:
- Experience with PCC or similar electronic health record systems
- Proficiency in taking accurate vital signs
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
- Ability to provide care for patients with infectious diseases
- Experience in dementia care and understanding of related challenges
- Understanding of physiology and anatomy
- Familiarity with pediatric, geriatric, home care, and hospice settings
