Minimum Qualifications:
>Master's Degree or higher with Louisiana Certification in Administration and Supervision on level of assignment (Principal Certificate) or certification as Special School Principal
>Must be certified in at least one area of Special Education (Mild/Moderate, Severe/Profound, Students with Significant Disabilities)
>Five (5) years of successful professional experience in Special Education
>Provide own transportation for itinerant responsibilities
>Working knowledge of federal, state and parish guidelines, laws, and regulations related to special education and ESYs
>Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with other professionals, children and parents
>Demonstrated ability to use computers, email and data management programs
Desirable Qualifications:
>At least one year experience as ESY teacher
>Experience in collaborative efforts with teachers, parents, support staff and school-based personnel
