The Jefferson Metropolitan Housing Authority (JMHA) is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician at various locations in and around Steubenville, Ohio.
Maintenance Techncians are responsible for performing routine and skilled maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs at JMHA properties. Ensuring that buildings and facilities are well-maintained, safe, and in good working order. Duties include troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and responding to work orders promptly.
Responsibilities Include:
Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks, including building and grounds maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs, to ensure the safety and functionality of JMHA properties.
Respond to work orders and maintenance requests, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and safety considerations.
Collaborate with team members to address complex maintenance challenges and complete larger repair projects.
Full-time, Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm and on-call rotation. Pay Range commensurate with experience starting at $20.06/hour.

All applicants must possess a valid drivers license and be insurable by our agency insurance carrier. Mininum of 2 years experience in construction trades or general maintenance, and/or completion of vocational trade program.
