What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Cook / Kitchen Staff position at Jefferson Market & General Store?
Are you up with the sun? Know your eggs? Make a mean pancake? We are looking for someone to join our breakfast team! This YEAR ROUND position would focus primarily on cooking breakfast mornings including lead cook & opening on Saturdays (5am-1 pm). Additional morning shifts available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Ideal candidates are punctual, experienced and confident cooking on a grill, enjoy working with the public (open kitchen), and with our team. Daily tasks include preparing menu items, prep work, maintaining a clean workstation, grill, pizza prep, monitoring supplies and stock, and being personable with customers.
Must be reliable, prompt and have a positive attitude. Serve Safe Certified, Line/Prep Cook experience is a must.
Competitive wages; base pay is based on experience and negotiable, plus tips & shift meal.
