Production Associate (Hot Stamp) - 3rd Shift

As part of our involvement, Jefferson Industries Corporation offers design and development for press dies and other tools necessary to produce automotive products. We embrace programs for product development including product design review and Advanced Product Quality Planning. We are actively seeking production associates to join our Hot Stamp Department on 3rd shift (core schedule, Sunday - Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:30am)

Job Position and Duties May Include:

Hot Stamp Press Operation:

• Assembly
• Installs/Set-up dies on bolster during die changes
• Loads blanks for continuous production operation
• Prepares robotic tooling for change-overs
• Inspects product for conformance to quality specifications
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Must be willing to operate forklift
• Other duties as assigned

Laser Cutting Operation:

• Perform proper set-up for specified product
• Continuously monitor process
• Assists in troubleshooting
• Inspects product for conformance to quality specifications
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Other duties as assigned

Weld Lines:

• Load/unload metal parts in weld jig
• Assembly
• Change weld-tips
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards met
• Use RDF scanner to transfer inventory
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Restock for oncoming shift
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Other duties as assigned

• Weekly Pay
• $18.75/hour starting wage
• $0.50/hour eligible hours shift premium
• Base-Rate Pay increase every three (3) months, up to top-out rate

• Previous manufacturing and/or warehouse experience, preferred
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs on a consistent basis
• Ability to stand on concrete up to 12 hours
• Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop and twist throughout shift
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required to meet customer demands
