POSITION SUMMARY
Performs grounds maintenance services by mowing and edging lawns and fields throughout the school district.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Basic preparation needed for mowing (moving equipment, filling holes, removing trash, etc)
- Keeping lawns and other facilities mowed and in a neat and clean appearance
- General upkeep of lawn mowing equipment
- Exercise knowledge of proper safety techniques, including, but not limited to: wearing proper personal protective equipment, handling of materials, lifting techniques, use of all equipment
- Ensure quality work through effective monitoring of grounds appearance
- Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Lawn mowing experience (commercial preferred)
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned work
- Eye for detail
- Must be 18 year or older
