What are the responsibilities and job description for the JHS Charisma Camp Modern/Contemporary Instructor and Choreographer position at Jefferson County Schools?
The successful applicant will lead intermediate and advanced Charisma dance students in modern/contemporary warm-ups and conditioning; teach modern/contemporary dance technique classes; choreograph and set a 3–5 minute modern/contemporary piece for use in concerts and submissions to the National High School Dance Festival (NHSDF) and Arts Alive; and clean/revise choreography for submission videos.
The candidate should have experience teaching and choreographing modern/contemporary dance, as well as experience working with high school students. A degree in dance or a related field is preferred. Compensation for this position is $500 and includes all duties listed above.
