What are the responsibilities and job description for the Detention Aide Worker position at Jefferson County Juvenile Office?
Duties include supervising juvenile residents and presenting staff facilitated programming for residents in a secure detention environment. Must be able to generate log entries and reports associated with each resident's behavior, as well as daily events. Must possess good communication skills and ability to identify and defuse problematic situations.
Applicants must be 21 years old with at least a high school diploma. Prior experience working with youth preferred but not required. Applicants must be available to work evening shift, including weekends and holidays.
