What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Secretary position at Jefferson County Health Department?
The Program Secretary will be a receptionist, with basic secretarial duties such as:
Answering Phones
Processing Client Paperwork
Collecting and Documenting payments
Checking patient eligibility
Schedule appointments
and many other duties as needed
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Office, basic computer skills, and knowledge of the WIC Program are a plus, but not required. We will train. This position will deal directly with clients. An ideal candidate will be friendly, warm, and outgoing.
Our ideal candidate would be a quick learner, comfortable using computers, a team player, and enjoy working with the public. The position is Full-Time, MONDAY - THURSDAY 7:30am -4:30 pm, 34 hours a week.
