The Motor Vehicle Warehouse Support position provides the opportunity to join a fun and dedicated team of public servants helping residents of Jefferson County with 5 star reviews. This position is a great fit for someone who is energetic, organized, detail oriented and a team player looking for a part-time position.
Schedule
This position requires on-site/in-office work for weekly shifts scheduled during our 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 7am-5:30 pm). Available to operate a motor vehicle to deliver Motor Vehicle supplies to all five (5) Jefferson County Motor Vehicle locations (Arvada, Evergreen, Golden, Lakewood, Littleton).
Compensation
Target Hiring Range: $18.00 - $20.00 USD Hourly
Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and skills. Additional compensation for Spanish bilingual skills is available.
Benefits
Please note that this is an, non-benefited position scheduled to work approximately 15-20 hours per week. There is no holiday pay. Employees are able to earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year.

Essential Duties
This position involves assisting the motor vehicle team and may include:
- Checking and verifying orders from Colorado Correctional Industries in CORE 21 software and receiving shipments of state issued inventory for Motor Vehicle use.
- Fulfilling and delivering inventory request for office operations for all Jefferson County Motor Vehicle locations.
- Maintain accurate tracking of inventory in the computer-based inventory system.
- Maintain, clean, and operate county vehicles and equipment, including coordinating basic preventive maintenance by scheduling service with the County Maintenance Shop.
- May use forklift, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Will need to be able to manually lift 50 lbs.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Previous experience in DRIVES (including CORE 21 version).
- Be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Retain a valid driver’s license.
- Experience with Windows 11/Microsoft 365
