POSITION TITLE:              Marching Technician for Guard

FLSA:                                Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS:            Must hold proper state certification

REPORTS TO:                    Director of Bands and/or other Supervisor

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

 

The Color Guard Technician will assist in the instruction and development of the Jay Band Color Guard program. This individual will work closely with the Color Guard Director and band staff to provide training in movement, equipment technique, and performance skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mentoring students, fostering a positive team culture, and helping elevate the overall visual program.  Time commitment will include weekly evening rehearsals and season performance obligations; morning rehearsals are not required but an option to provide extra assistance if available.
