ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE- PAYMENT REWARDS

WANTED: People with a passion for helping people during challenging times. Jefferson Capital Systems is searching for a person who is empathetic, a quick thinker, active listener and enjoys being on the phone. Our Account Representatives are responsible for offering the Payment Rewards Program to consumers, helping them establish repayment opportunities and ensure customers are successful in completing the program. You will work as a team and as an individual working with consumers and arranging a payment arrangement for their charged off debt. Our representatives have opportunities to earn monthly incentives based on performance and compliance - if you are a hard worker, we will reward you for it!
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Shares Payment Rewards program with consumers, helps them establish repayment opportunities and strives to ensure consumers are successful in the program.
- Has a positive and professional attitude; is respectful to both consumers and team members.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by maintaining confidentiality.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Stellar listening skills, problem solving skills and the ability to negotiate with consumers.
- Ability to stay calm and deescalate situations and effectively promote the Payment Rewards program.
- Possess a strong work ethic, high ethical standards, and ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Reliable and can consistently work the assigned daily schedule.
- Able to work independently and effectively on a team; goal driven and results oriented.
- Basic computer skills, detail orientated, and having the ability to multi-task.
Additional Qualifications:
- Collections experience not required, but if you have some great
- Customer service experience: collections, telephone sales, telemarketing, banking, office experience or customer service roles valued.
- Spanish bilingual skills appreciated, but not required.
- Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework affecting customers' collections values, but not required as we will train this skill set.
COMPENSATION/HOURS/SCHEDULE:
- Full Time positions available
- Work hours can be: (8am - 4pm or 10am- 6pm or 10 hours x 4 days a week)
- Flexible schedule (College Students, Single Parents)
- Hourly range is $20 hour INCENTIVE OPPORTUNITIES.
- New Hire Bonus of $1,000 paid over 4 months!
- Monthly Individual incentive opportunities
