Animal Care Assistant – Join Our Fun & Caring Veterinary Team!

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Animal Care Assistant to join our team. This is a full time entry-level position — perfect for someone considering a future career in veterinary medicine, animal care, or pet services. Experience with animals is a plus, but not required — we provide hands-on, on-the-job training!
What You’ll Do:
Keep our furry guests safe, comfortable, and happy during their stay
Provide food, water, walks, and lots of TLC
Assist with patient restraint and help our veterinary team during treatments
Clean and sanitize kennels, treatment, and surgery areas (everyone pitches in!)
Stock supplies and keep our hospital organized
Help prepare and sterilize surgical instruments
Monitor animals for signs of stress or illness — because you care as much as we do
What We’re Looking For:
A compassionate team player with a love for animals
Someone who’s reliable, positive, and ready to learn
Comfortable getting a little dirty (this job involves cleaning and lots of it!)
Able to lift and handle animals of all shapes and sizes safely
A good communicator who works well in a busy, team-oriented environment
