JMA Pediatrics is looking for a qualified Referral Specialists to join our team to impact better outcomes in a timely efficient manner for our patients.
The position is responsible for:
The Referral Specialist will support the practice by processing referral orders to specialists in a timely manner. Duties will include calling specialist and patients to schedule appointments, processing office notes through specialist portals. This will require excellent phone etiquette while reaching out to patients and specialist offices. The referral specialist will work closely with our clinical team to facilitate timely and accurate patient referral notes, while maintaining a very high level of professionalism and customer service/patient satisfaction. The Referral Specialist will support answering patient calls and appointment scheduling during high volume times.
Qualifications:
Previous referral experience in a medical office environment preferred
HIPAA Regulations knowledge
Previous experience in customer service, phone etiquette and data entry;
Self-driven and professional;
Excellent typing, written and verbal communication skills;
Attention to detail and accuracy while multitasking;
