Jefferies Equity Research is seeking a senior research associate to join our Building Products and Paper & Packaging Team. The candidate will support a Senior Analyst and will be part of a team that conducts extensive industry, company and macroeconomic analysis.
Responsibilities
- Senior Associate will work with the Senior Analyst on:
- Modeling financial statements and conducting fundamental research
- Writing actionable research reports on public companies
- Following and analyzing industry trends
- Maintaining relationships with company and industry contacts Interacting with Sales and buy-side clients
QualificationsRequired
- Good Financial modeling skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of finance and accounting
- Excellent analytical ability
- Strong interpersonal skills to enable development and maintenance of relationships with team members, buy-side clients and corporate contacts Team oriented, motivated individual
Preferred
- 3-6 years of work experience in an analytical field like equity research (industrials / consumer background preferred), accounting, banking, consulting, and corporate finance.
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $135,000 - $165,000.
