JMM is seeking a Receptionist with a minimum of 1 year of administrative experience for the Irvine office. The Receptionist will deliver essential front-of-house and administrative support to practice groups, legal assistants, and the Office Administrator. This person will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Service Center. The Firm will provide ongoing professional development opportunities to ensure the Receptionist has the skills and tools to succeed.
Essential Duties
- Harness your communication and customer service skills to warmly greet clients and visitors, answer and route incoming calls, and manage incoming and outgoing facsimiles.
- Collaborate with attorneys, legal assistants, and administrative team members to provide reliable support across a range of tasks as needed.
- Apply your organizational skills to schedule and maintain meeting rooms, coordinate food orders for meetings, and serve coffee and beverages to guests.
- Employ your attention to detail to scan, print, photocopy, velobind, and profile legal documents with accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize your initiative to maintain the lobby, meeting rooms, kitchen, and employee lounge, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment at all times.
- Exercise strong coordination skills to order and stock office and kitchen supplies, maintain office equipment, and call for service as needed.
- Manage the logging and distribution of deliveries and mail, process outgoing mail and overnight deliveries, and track attorney messenger service requests.
- Engage with peers and other administrative teams to organize documents in binders and assist with overflow work and miscellaneous tasks as needed.
- Ability to lift and transport moderate to heavy materials as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum one year of experience in an office support role is required.
Position: Non-Exempt
Location: Irvine. 5 days/week onsite.
Salary: $52k - $60k base
