Position Summary
The Hyundai Service Technician is responsible for accurately diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Hyundai vehicles while delivering the highest level of workmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, safety-focused, and passionate about staying ahead of evolving automotive technology.
This position requires strong diagnostic abilities, a commitment to Hyundai repair standards, and the ability to efficiently complete quality repairs while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Hyundai vehicles
- Utilize Hyundai factory repair procedures, scan tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns accurately and efficiently
- Complete warranty, maintenance, and customer-pay repairs with precision
- Perform multi-point inspections and communicate additional service recommendations professionally
- Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs and services performed
- Follow dealership processes, safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines
- Collaborate with Service Advisors, Parts Personnel, and fellow technicians to ensure an outstanding customer experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Continuously develop technical knowledge through training and hands-on experience

Qualifications:
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership or professional repair experience preferred
- Hyundai certification or manufacturer training experience strongly preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with modern vehicle electronics, scan tools, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS)
- Ability to perform quality repairs efficiently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right the first time
- Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Personal tools required
