A Toyota Lube Technician performs basic vehicle maintenance services to ensure customer vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. This is an entry-level automotive service position with opportunities for training and advancement within Toyota service departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform oil and filter changes on Toyota vehicles

• Rotate tires and check tire pressure

• Inspect and top off fluids (engine oil, coolant, brake, transmission, washer fluid)

• Replace air filters and wiper blades

• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections

• Identify and report potential safety or mechanical issues to service advisors or technicians

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow Toyota service standards and safety procedures

Automotive Technician – Qualifications

• Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training preferred.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
• Must read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
• Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
• Experience as a lube technician or prepared to do on-the-job training.
• Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
