Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Service vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and brake repairs to maintain optimal safety standards.
- Repair and maintain diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics as required, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Expertise in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and automotive electrical systems.
- Skilled in diagnosing issues related to transmissions, powertrains, suspension systems, shocks & struts, and wheel alignment.
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including oil change procedures, tire service, brake repair, and mechanical system repair.
- Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately for complex repairs involving automotive electrical wiring and mechanical components.
- Strong familiarity with auto estimating software and maintaining detailed service records.

- Experience working as a Main line technician
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
