Jeff Wyler Springfield Auto Mall is seeking a motivated, dependable, and detail-oriented Automotive Lot Technician to help maintain one of the region's premier automotive dealerships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, takes pride in organization, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
As a Lot Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring our inventory is clean, organized, secure, and presentation-ready for customers every day.
What You'll Do
- Maintain the organization and appearance of new and pre-owned vehicle inventory.
- Move, stage, and park vehicles throughout the dealership safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all vehicles are fueled, charged (EVs), washed, and ready for customer delivery or display.
- Perform routine lot inspections for cleanliness, damage, and proper placement.
- Install dealer plates, window stickers, and promotional materials.
- Assist with vehicle deliveries, dealer trades, and transportation between dealership locations.
- Check tire pressure, battery condition, and fluid levels as directed.
- Keep the dealership lot, parking areas, and vehicle display areas clean and professional.
- Assist the Sales, Service, and Management teams with daily operational needs.
- Promptly report vehicle damage, maintenance concerns, or inventory discrepancies.
- Follow all dealership safety policies and manufacturer handling procedures.
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, entering and exiting vehicles, and driving throughout the day. Employees must be able to work outdoors during varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude.
- Ability to safely drive a wide variety of vehicles, including trucks and SUVs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
