Position Overview: As an ASE Certified Master Technician at Eastgate KIA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our customers' vehicles. We are particularly interested in candidates who are Kia certified, as we prioritize delivering the best service to Kia owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and analyze diagnostic data and perform comprehensive inspections to pinpoint problems accurately.
- Repair and maintain Kia and other vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and alignments.
- Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment and tools to identify complex issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance to advisors and or customers in a clear and understandable manner.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs.
- Maintain detailed and documented records of all repairs, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings.
- Stay up-to-date with Kia training and certifications to maintain expertise in Kia vehicle repair.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
