About Us

Our goal at Jeff’s Bagel Run is to bake fresh, bring joy, and build community. We started in our founder Jeff’s home kitchen in 2019 and have grown to over 30 locations — and we’re coming to The Villages!

We are looking for a dedicated Shift Lead who is excited to learn the bagel business and help lead the team day to day. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, enjoys supporting teammates, and is interested in growing with us as we continue to expand. We operate as a team, and we close at 2pm every day!

Restaurant or bakery experience is a plus. We will fully train you in our process. A great candidate will be disciplined, fast, and take pride in consistency — delivering a quality product and great guest experience day in and day out.

This role also helps set the tone for the shift, supporting team members and helping ensure operations run smoothly.

Must be willing to work in a sometimes fast-paced bakery focused on baking bagels and serving smiles. Must be a strong teammate with a clear understanding of what it takes to provide great customer service.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and move quickly and efficiently under pressure.

Other potential workload: whipped cream cheese production, cream cheese scooping, vegetable chopping, inventory counts, food prep (bagels), making coffee, dishes, general cleaning, and front of house service.

Responsibilities and Requirements (Don’t worry — we can train you!)

• Provide exceptional customer service — this is the most important part of the job

• Help lead shifts and support teammates to ensure smooth daily operations

• Run front of house as a team or independently

• Be comfortable running a cash register and assisting in food prep (bagels and cream cheese)

• Maintain the front lobby and guest areas

• Assist with inventory counts and product organization

• Provide assistance to the bakers when needed

• Clean and disinfect work areas; set up and break down work stations; follow and help maintain sanitation and cleaning procedures

• Assist with opening the store on time and support closing the entire bakery when scheduled

• Ensure equipment is clean and sanitized

• Help maintain a safe and organized work environment

Additional Details

Shifts may start anywhere from 5–7am
Weekend availability required
