Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive mechanical issues, including engine performance, transmission problems, and brake systems.
- Perform auto body repair and alignments as needed.
- Maintain and service vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively.
- Conduct repairs on automotive electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and lighting.
- Execute welding tasks for structural repairs when necessary.
- Stay updated on advancements in automotive technology, including Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role.
- Proficiency in auto body repair techniques and alignment procedures is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive service practices and principles.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
- Experience working with hand tools and diagnostic equipment is essential.
- Ability to perform welding tasks is a plus.
- Knowledge of ADAS technology is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dealership or service center environment.
