Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing clear and accurate information regarding insurance policies and services
- Assist clients with policy changes, claims processing, billing questions, and general account management
- Conduct outbound calls for follow-up, surveys, or promotional opportunities as needed
- Enter data accurately into the company’s management system while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity
- Handle cash transactions when applicable, ensuring proper documentation and security protocols are followed
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to foster positive customer relationships
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and improve overall customer experience
- Support sales efforts by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate insurance products
Experience
- PA Property & Casualty Insurance License required
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience with data entry, Microsoft Office applications, and general computer skills required
- Familiarity with insurance industry terminology or client services is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to handle outbound calling campaigns effectively
- Knowledge of sales techniques, customer service best practices, and analysis skills is beneficial
- Experience in cash handling and typing accuracy enhances suitability for this role
