Registered Nurse PRN Med/Surg

1. Maintain an accurate and detailed record of patient care provided.

2. Complete assessments and histories in a timely manner as outline in the policy and procedures, review LPN assessments per policy and procedure.

3. Work with other team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patients’ plans of care.

4. Directs and/or supervises direct patient care performed by other nursing staff members.

5.  Administers medications and treatments according to established policies and procedures, and standards of care set by the state board of nursing and other governing agency regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Associate’s degree in nursing.
2. Current Georgia RN licensure.
3. Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certification within 1 year of hire.
4. Six months to one-year experience or training; preferred.
5. The equivalent combination of education and experience.
