ED Staff Nurse 11a-11p FT

Description

• Coordinates the day-to-day activities of a defined team of specialty nurses and support staff, ensuring adherence to appropriate federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines, facility policies, and procedures. Coordinates services with other patient care units and provides direct nursing services and patient care as appropriate.
• Complete assessments and histories in a timely manner as outline in the policy and procedures, review LPN assessments per policy and procedure.
• Administers medications and treatments according to established policies and procedures, and standards of care set by the state board of nursing and other governing agency regulations
• Maintain an accurate and detailed record of patient care provided.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

1. Associate’s degree in nursing.
2. Current Georgia RN licensure.
3. Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certification within 1 year of hire.
4. Six months to one-year experience or training; preferred.
5. The equivalent combination of education and experience.
