Overview
We are seeking a skilled Water Softener Plumbing Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining water softening systems and related plumbing components across various construction and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and the use of hand and power tools. Experience with blueprint reading, schematics, and HVAC systems is highly desirable. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain water softener systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely on construction sites
- Conduct remodeling tasks related to plumbing systems, including carpentry and assembly work
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing systems using mechanical knowledge
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment
- Assist in the planning and layout of plumbing installations according to schematics and blueprints
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to code standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, or related trades
- Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of HVAC systems and general mechanical principles
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized plumbing equipment
- Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations
- Prior experience with remodeling or maintenance person work is a plus
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or site travel as required
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety compliance

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42 – 50 per week
