Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role located in Indianapolis, IN. The Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic will be responsible for performing inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance on aircraft to ensure they meet safety and airworthiness standards. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing issues with aircraft systems, maintaining compliance with regulations, and documenting completed work accurately. Attention to detail and safety compliance will be essential to excel in this role. Experience is considered in compensation; $29-$35 per hour.
Qualifications
- Experience with PowerPlant maintenance and troubleshooting
- Expertise in Aircraft Maintenance, including inspections and repairs
- Knowledge of Aircraft Systems and their operations
- Understanding of Airworthiness standards and regulatory requirements
- Hands-on experience with Aircraft repair and servicing
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety regulations
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Previous work experience in aviation maintenance is preferred
