Position Overview
Jedson Engineering is seeking Senior Project Managers and Project Directors to lead multi-discipline engineering projects supporting large capital investments. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in managing projects from early-stage development through detailed design and project execution, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large capital projects through all FEL (Front-End Loading) phases and into detailed design, procurement and construction management.
- Utilize Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) principles to support construction planning and execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress tracking tools to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate internal engineering teams and external stakeholders to meet project goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients through clear communication and proactive problem solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 10 years of project management experience in an engineering environment.
- Proven experience with large-scale capital projects and engineering team coordination.
- Deep understanding of FEL phases and AWP methodology.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Direct experience in the pulp & paper, building materials, cement, material handling systems, metals, minerals and/or mining manufacturing sectors.
- Professional Engineer and /or PMP certification is a plus.
