We are in a significant growth mode and it’s an exciting time to be joining our business!WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: You will bring extensive experience to work on heavy industrial projects specializing in the Heavy Industrial Sector (Building Products, Cement, Material Handling, Metals, Minerals and Mining) on projects ranging from small facility modifications to complex EPC contracts. Some travel will be required to make sales visits and meet with clients at project and construction sites.• Participate in business development to provide advice and solutions to the client's problems• Assist in development of engineering scope of work and services proposals• Manage multi-discipline engineering teams responsible for scope, schedule and budget• Participate in the planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating detailed phases of engineering projects• Direct preparation of drawings and specific type of equipment and materials to be used, in construction and equipment installation• Develop construction work packages and contractor scope of work documents• Inspects completed installations for conformance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards• Provide on-site start up supportYOUR IDEAL BACKGROUND:The successful candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be excited by opportunities to add value to our clients with Jedson’s engineering expertise. Strong communication skills, collaboration and courage to challenge the status quo are cornerstones of the Jedson Edge. • 10 years of experience with experience in consulting engineering, construction industry and/or operations with strong focus on the Heavy Industrial Sector, including:Technical expertise in the Heavy Industrial Sector – proven understanding or expertise of process technologies and industry standardsProcess Technology Supplier and OEM RelationshipsExperience with InnovationComfortable working with integrated designs on large capital projects involving coordination with process technology suppliers for development of mechanical, chemical, civil, and electrical disciplines scope of work• Well organized with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate within budgets and work directly with client engineers, maintenance teams and construction contractors• Capability with CAD systems including AutoCAD is preferred but not required• PE license or EIT certificate with ability to obtain PE license is preferred but not required
