Accounting Specialist - Billing

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
As part of the Accounting team, you will primarily be responsible for:
- Generate invoices for clients based on projects and billed work
- Work with engineers to ensure their timesheets are accurately entered
- Responding to email requests and calls from Clients and Project Managers
- Project Lifecycle Management - setting up, funding, billing, closing
- Processing Purchase Orders
- Accurately post and allocate incoming payments against respective invoices
- Perform checks and analyze reports to ensure billing accuracy
- Month-end general ledger account reconciliations and other closing processes as assigned
- Assist leadership with reporting
- Assist with on demand analysis requests

The successful candidate will be a natural critical thinker, possess a strong attention to detail coupled with a client-focused attitude and strong communication skills.
- Commensurate business experience of 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Service oriented individual with strong communication skills to work with Project Managers and external clients
- Strong overall ERP skills and specifically related to project management and customer invoicing
- Intermediate Excel skills required with the willingness to move to the mastery level
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to receive direction, work independently and move forward as part of a team
- Well organized, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
