Responsibilities
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of materials, components, and finished products throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments accurately to support assembly and mechanical tasks.
- Interpret technical drawings, production documents, and assembly instructions to ensure precise execution of tasks.
- Use forklift and warehouse equipment safely to move raw materials, supplies, or finished goods within the factory premises.
- Support assembly line operations by assembling parts, managing process flow, and maintaining production standards.
- Follow strict safety protocols and manufacturing standards to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and supporting lean manufacturing practices.
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment in a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents accurately.
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol guidelines.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, process improvement, and managing production or assembly teams is highly desirable.
- Excellent manual handling skills with the physical ability for heavy lifting and manual tasks throughout shifts.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, safety standards, and continuous improvement strategies in a production environment.
