What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Program Manager, EPD position at JED Engineering & Land Surveying, P.C.?
The ideal candidate will oversee projects from bidding to execution. You will work with senior management and act as the point of contact for clients.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree architecture, engineering, or related field
- Prepare project status reports for supervisors, senior and executive staff on a periodic basis
- Manage the various aspects of project life cycle including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling and closing for each assigned project
- Collaborate with project team to retain the necessary internal and external resources, including appropriate professional services, to advance the assigned projects to conceptual/preliminary design or final design
- Conduct / participate in regularly scheduled meetings with the appropriate parties to ensure the project scope, schedule and budget are maintained
- Take the lead in establishing project risk parameters and developing the appropriate risk contingency plans
- Advance projects through established milestones, developing and implementing recovery plans for unanticipated delays.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years" experience in progressively more responsible positions in the development and delivery of Architectural/Engineering projects
- Demonstrated experience in management, engineering design, and/or construction fields
- Demonstrated experience working on large capital programs from a design and construction aspect
- Extensive experience in managing and influencing diverse work group, project teams and internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated superior customer service, decision-making, problem solving, conflict resolution
- Demonstrated knowledge of capital planning and assessment, procurement, project planning and development
Salary : $175,000 - $200,000
