About This Opportunity
We are hiring a Fashion Buyer for our Los Angeles office. This is a hybrid role based in the downtown fashion district. This buyer will be responsible for multimillion dollar categories. This position reports to the Merchandise Manager.
Candidates should have 5 years of buying experience in fashion retail. Off-price experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the buying and planning teams to fill OTB and plan product assortment
• Analyze reports to drive positive sales
• Monitor and predict market trends
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships
• Attend business meetings and vendor appointments
• Negotiate affordable prices for merchandise
• Communicate with merchandising team to develop products and properly present trends
Qualifications
• 5 years of buying experience in fashion retail – off price preferred
• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Fashion Merchandising, and or related field preferred)
• Strong Excel skills and retail math
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Bilingual skills (Spanish or Korean) are a plus
• Must be an independent thinker and self-starter
• Must be able to reliably commute to the downtown Los Angeles office on a weekly basis

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
• Location: Hybrid in Los Angeles, CA
• Meetings: Must be able to attend in-person meetings as needed
• Travel: Up to 10% travel
