Overview:
We are seeking a bright, motivated, and friendly individual to join our family! This unique role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the property management and real estate fields, with a blend of in-office duties and fieldwork.
Duties:
- Conduct move-in and move-out video and photo inspections
- Complete move-in and move-out checklists to ensure proper tenant transition and oversee necessary repairs, cleaning, or make-ready work
- Follow up on make-ready status with vendors
- Communicate with property owners regarding project estimates
- Conduct lawn inspections for all single-family homes we manage
- Conduct inspections for vacant properties that are active in MLS
- Answer and direct calls, respond to emails, and greet residents, clients, and prospective residents/clients while in the office
- Keep the reception and office areas tidy and stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., pens, forms, brochures)
- Perform light daily cleaning of the lobby and conference room, and remove trash and recycling from staff areas.
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Participate in community events as needed
- Be available after hours/weekends for occasional vendor questions
Required:
- Use of a reliable personal vehicle & a valid Driver's License (mileage reimbursement available)
- Daily use of personal smartphone (phone usage credit available)
- Must be comfortable around animals; the office has a resident cat, and the owner’s dog is present daily.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Experience as a receptionist, call center representative, secretary, or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective multitasking and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks
- Strong customer service skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Consistent, reliable, and punctual attendance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers)
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
