The OpportunityJKA is seeking a Director of Public Sector Delivery to lead execution across our growing portfolio of government-funded programs and strategic initiatives.
This is a leadership role for an experienced operator who can build structure, manage complexity, and drive results. The Director will oversee day-to-day contract execution, ensure deliverables are completed on time and at a high standard, and maintain accountability across teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership and requires someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining focus on outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Director of Public Sector Delivery will:
- Lead operational execution of public sector contracts and programs.
- Oversee implementation schedules, service delivery, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Manage participant engagement, workshops, technical assistance services, and onboarding activities.
- Coordinate internal staff, facilitators, consultants, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor KPIs, contract performance metrics, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure CRM, documentation, and program data are accurate and current.
- Oversee outreach and marketing activities that support participation and contractual performance goals.
- Identify operational risks and proactively implement solutions.
Successful candidates will:
- Deliver programs on time and in compliance with contract requirements.
- Maintain strong operational systems and reporting processes.
- Achieve participant engagement and service delivery targets.
- Drive accountability across teams and vendors.
- Create structure and consistency in fast-moving environments.
- Independently solve problems and advance initiatives without constant oversight.
- Master's degree and at least five years of experience managing programs, operations, public sector initiatives, or complex service-delivery environments.
OR
- Bachelor's degree and at least ten years of relevant experience.
Preferred experience includes:
- Government contracts and public sector programs
- CRM and reporting systems
- Workforce development, technical assistance, or training programs
- Stakeholder engagement and partnership management
- Operational leadership in high-accountability environments
