The Opportunity

JKA is seeking a Director of Public Sector Delivery to lead execution across our growing portfolio of government-funded programs and strategic initiatives.

This is a leadership role for an experienced operator who can build structure, manage complexity, and drive results. The Director will oversee day-to-day contract execution, ensure deliverables are completed on time and at a high standard, and maintain accountability across teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership and requires someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining focus on outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

The Director of Public Sector Delivery will:

• Lead operational execution of public sector contracts and programs.
• Oversee implementation schedules, service delivery, reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Manage participant engagement, workshops, technical assistance services, and onboarding activities.
• Coordinate internal staff, facilitators, consultants, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs, contract performance metrics, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure CRM, documentation, and program data are accurate and current.
• Oversee outreach and marketing activities that support participation and contractual performance goals.
• Identify operational risks and proactively implement solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and at least five years of experience managing programs, operations, public sector initiatives, or complex service-delivery environments.

OR

• Bachelor's degree and at least ten years of relevant experience.

Preferred experience includes:

• Government contracts and public sector programs
• CRM and reporting systems
• Workforce development, technical assistance, or training programs
• Stakeholder engagement and partnership management
• Operational leadership in high-accountability environments
