Certified Welding Inspector

JE Technology Solutions, a designer and manufacturer of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment, is seeking a skilled Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and support our mission of delivering high-quality, on-time products to our customers. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, able to work at a fast pace, and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of welding processes and finished products to ensure compliance with AWS industry standards.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess weld quality and integrity.
• Perform quality audits and maintain accurate and detailed inspection records.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Provide coaching, training, and guidance to welders and team members on quality assurance practices and inspection standards.
• Analyze inspection results and quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in improving inspection processes, documentation, and quality control procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and actively participate in quality-related meetings and reviews.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Five years related experience and/or training in welding or weld inspections, or equivalent combination of education and experience for Steel & Aluminum.
• Proven experience as a Certified Welding Inspector (AWS) or similar role in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality control processes.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Require minimal supervision to plan and schedule workload
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
  
  

Experience

• Certified welding inspection through the American Welding Society (AWS): 2 years (Required)
• Manufacturing engineering or industrial quality experience: 2 years (Required)
  
  

Work Location: Onsite-Apopka, FL - Reliable commute to work is required.

Work Schedule: Full-time, First shift, Monday through Thursday, 40 hours weekly (start time 5:00 a.m.). Schedule may vary based on company needs.
