The Café is the signature all-day dining outlet of Mission Pacific Beach Resort, a Hyatt property on the Oceanside waterfront. We serve from sunrise to sunset — serious food, craft coffee, and a full bar program — in a space that is equal parts neighborhood café and elevated hospitality experience. Our team moves fast, cares deeply, and takes real pride in what they put in front of people.
This position is a Server role and will be responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverage preferences. The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings. A Hyatt restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes. This person will be able to memorize the menu items and knowledgeable about any items that may be out. If you have experience as a server in a restaurant, we'd love to hear from you!

- Minimum 1 years of server experience
- Experience in a full-service or hotel food and beverage environment preferred
- Ability to stand for a minimum 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift, carry, and move at least 50 pounds
- Strong multitasking ability
- Warm, confident, and professional under pressure — speed and warmth are not opposites
- Punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time.
- Ability to follow the Hyatt Values during each shift.
- Ability to take direction for your Supervisor and leaders.
- Open availability including weekdays, weekends and holidays.
Salary : $17
