About the Role:
Join HLH & CO., Nursery and Design as a Plant Nursery Sales Associate, where your passion for plants and customer service will flourish! In this vibrant role, you will help customers select the perfect plants while contributing to a welcoming and knowledgeable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with plant selection and provide expert advice on care and maintenance.
• Maintain the plant nursery by watering, pruning, and organizing plants for optimal display.
• Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Educate customers on product features, benefits, and best practices for plant care.
• Collaborate with team members to create visually appealing displays and promotions.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Stay informed about new products and industry trends to better assist customers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a nursery or garden center.
• Strong knowledge of plants, horticulture, and landscape design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory.
• Physical ability to lift and move plants and supplies as needed.
• Passion for gardening and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
